Xsplit just released a feature they call VCam. It allows you to remove your background without requiring a green screen. You can add any background that you have available and blur it if you need to. I normally am in studio with a green screen but on occasion, I am traveling and this feature would enhance my weather videos while on the road. I did purchase VCam and it does work well as another camera within vMix but I am suggesting that vMix add this as another feature from within the program. You do not have to have a special camera for this to work, any camera or webcam will do.

Hi
For those considering purchasing VCam, be aware that it will not work on Windows 7.

+1 Many of my corporate customers asking for this especially as MS Teams has this feature and they like to brand their backgrounds for various company events/days

+1. Yes corporates are asking for this on vmix call inputs.
If a users vmix computer can't support it then they shouldn't use it. But many of us have high performance rigs and can do it.

Xsplit's new VCam feature offers background removal without a green screen, and integrating a similar feature directly into vMix would enhance your weather videos while traveling; have you tried PicsArt Mod background removal features? It's free and worth trying too.
