Hi,

I have searched everyhere, forum, help/documenation and google, but can seem to find an answer on how to set the input and output resoulution to 1080i? 1440x1080

My camera, Sony's HVR-HD1000E, is connected through firewire and has a default resoulution of 1440x1080, as interlaced HDV.

Great software by the way.

I will search and try it but try changing the resolution on the camera a little lower to match vmix's standard.

Manual here: http://pro.sony.com/bbsc...anuals/HVRHD1000U_OM.pdf

You will need to de-interlace the feed when you setup the input. The output options seem to be 480i via Component or 1080i via HDMI. based on a very quick read.

Always select 1920x1080 when using firewire sources at 1440x1080 as vMix will convert it as required.
