Updates: If you purchased vMix prior to 1 January 2018, an additional purchase is required to use this beta or a new Trial is possible if you haven't
used the Trial in some time. Finally, an edition upgrade (say from HD to 4K) will also include 12 months of free updates.

This is a quick overview of how to use some of the major features in GT Designer:


New Features and Changes

* GT Designer Brand new Title Designer
Fully GPU accelerated

* vMix Social
Instagram support removed due to Instagram enforced policy changes.

* MultiCorder Update
Now supports Video Call sources in addition to Output 1-4 sources.
Settings now saved in preset.

* New vMix AVI Video Codec for Recording and MultiCorder. High quality, fault tolerant, low CPU codec suitable for post production editing
on Windows.

* NDI Version 3.8 included.
* Create Snapshot added to input cog icon menu to create a high resolution snapshot of any input.
* Live Pause. Camera, NDI and Desktop Capture inputs can be paused by clicking the pause icon under the input.
* Virtual PTZ provider. Turn any input into a Virtual PTZ camera with high quality 10x digital zoom.

* New GPU memory % indicator in status bar. This refers to special memory shared between the CPU and GPU and
can substantially increase render time when 100%. Reduce the number of inputs to lower this usage.

Was not able to try out vMix 22 as my key for vMix21 does not work,
nor try it out with my email address.

When trying to register for vMix 22 trial, I get the following error message.



Now I am unable to use vMix 21 now, after reinstalling vMix 21 I get
the following error message.



Only ever installed on one machine. Not a happy camper with vMix at the moment..

GT or vMix bug with Lower Thirds.
I just create a test LW and when i add it on vmix, he have more time than i programmed.

In the PTZ section of an input

It will start from date of purchase.

The beta doesn't deal correctly with a Logitech Rally USB PTZ camera.

It only allows up to 1080p. Does not allow 4k or DCI resolutions.

It should be handled in exactly the same way a Logitech Brio, using MF access to permit 4k30 using NV12 or MJPEG.

I did drop you an email and was told I can't even try the beta, because of an expired trial.
And I had to upgrade to try the beta at the same price of buying a new license.

Wanted to try the new version to see if it is worth for me to upgrade to vMix22.
Guess I won't be trying the beta.

Guess I will have to wait till final release to purchase the new version (second license) if i decide to go that route or go to a hardware-based system.

I've found a bug

A short vid to show you..

I've been trying out all the new GT titles, and came across a problem with the Title14NewsHD3.gtzip file not completing/exiting it's overlay. The button stays lit, and when started again, it skips the intro of the lower 3rd....

Yes, if you have used a number of trial you won't be able to try 22 without purchasing 12 months of updates.
I was however referring to the problem of not being able to use a purchased key with 21 again, which we can certainly sort out.
