As a one man show, it would be really useful to be able to view the output preview on my phone or tablet so I can make camera adjustments.

How do other people do this?

You can use purpose build solutions from teradek if you like.

If your tablet happens to be a Windows 10 one with a x86 based CPU you can use NDI Studio Monitor. There currently isn't an NDI decoder for ARM based CPUs, so you will not be able to use a iOS or Android based device to video NDI directly.

The one other option, is to use a NDI to web converter tool. NewTek Connect Pro or Sienna WebLink can do this, it will converter NDI into a HTML compatible format that can be viewed on any devices with a modern web browser. The low latency solution is only video, no audio. The Sienna WebLink does support HSL streaming which supports audio, but there will be latency as well.

Wouldn't it be easier to just use a monitor ?

I have another option for you.
download the publisher from medialooks. Publish your NDI feed. There will be a url displayed where you can view the source.

That's a great solution. Just tried it and the latency is very low and also has audio.

Sienna NDI WebLink is a potential solution:
