Hell all,

vMix Social has been a nightmare so far. Start it with, trying to use vMix social for FB., I got this. (#803) Some of the aliases you requested do not exist. And not I got some entries in URL and is stuck over there, won't go away with the dot on URL. No matter how many times I quit vmix and re-start the computer. First of all how do you clean install vMix social? Is there any way of resetting it to default? Before we get to non working Facebook part, I would like to get this fixed. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about what is left in the URL, it won't be causing the problem.

The key thing is that Facebook now only allows access to content on public pages that you are an administrator of.
So you will need to use the Post tab only and enter in your page name.

If you are not using a page then unfortunately it is no longer possible to use vMix Social.
This is a security restriction enforced by Facebook of which we have no control over.

Regards,

Martin

Thanks Martin, First of all I love vMix, always worked out like a charm :) It's just a social part. I'm admin on the page not the one create the page, I have no problem streaming to it. How can I clear the entries in URL? I know by default dot use to be on post by default. Any help on this?

It is not necessary to clear the URL, simply select the Post tab
type in your page name then click Find Posts and select the post from there.

URL will no longer work due to security restrictions previously noted.

Only a public page can be used, not a personal account.
To find the name, visit it in a browser and the page name should be the first section after facebook.com/
which won't have any spaces.
