If I understand well, vmix social works only for Facebook, Youtube, Instagram streaming.
But if I want for example use twitch and make kind of iframe on my wordpress website and put a button under the iframe "ask question"
What could be the best alternative to manage questions from visitors on the streaming ?
Thanks

Custom datasources! You can connect vMix to any database (which btw social networks are)

https://www.vmix.com/help21/DataSources.html

btw vMix Social also works for Twitter. Not sure it still works for IG

Well, I think the documentation in the Help for vMix Social is a little bit mis-leading. There "Data Source" refers to the sources vMix Social currently supports. That is, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and IRC. In my view, "Social Data Source" would be a better description in this case, as vMix supports another type of Data Sources used for Title Inputs.

No, unfortunately vMix Social cannot be linked to a web page. And regarding Twitch, you should probably add your vote to the Feature Request Twitch IRC Chat into vMix Social.

EDIT: I misread DWAM's link, which was to vMix Help, not vMix Social Help, so I changed my link text above. And I added a clarification in my reply to joel05.

you can make your own social solution , not for social media , we have successfully made an app to use with vmix , viewers use the app to send messages to vmix live with profile photo too

First of all, my apologies to joel05 for not understanding that he asked for an "alternative" to vMix Social. Also apologies to DWAM who correctly suggested datasources, but I mixed up the vMix's Help with vMix Social's Help.

The reason for my confusion is that I was at the time hammering out a Feature Request that I (still) believe is relevant here. So, please consider taking a look at Generic sources and comment editing for vMix Social and see if it sounds useful.

Quickest way to do a simple ask a question form would be a google form that saves to a google spreadsheet that then is used as a data source in vmix

Not sure the Google form service is the best solution if you want to embed the form on your own page...But it's an easy solution when one does not code at all.

However it's very easy to create an HTML form that stores data in a text or csv file that can be used as a datasource in vMix

One example among hundreds with 20 lines of code:
https://stackoverflow.co...n-html-form-to-text-file

Such a solution will work perfectly for smaller projects where you don't expect thousands of questions
