This is my first feature request here. I've searched the forums and didn't find what I'm looking for. Feel free to correct me if I'm ignoring any vmix forum etiquette. :) We would like to be able to finalize our live vmix edit afterwards in our editing software (FCPX). Currently, we're already using multicorder and the multicam feature in FCPX to (for instance) correct any mistaken cuts. This process could be a lot easier if vmix would provide an EDL export, just like programs such as Switcher Studio already do. It's basically a structured way of listing all 'edit decisions', so other editing software can easily import them as a project. A way around could be to generate the EDL based on our xkeys actions (just like multicam logger does), but it's a pretty expensive work-around and only available for 2 specific xkeys configurations. Anyone else here longing for this feature? Or someone aware of a workaround for this? Thanks a lot!

I use Videoredo and I generate an edit list by writing recording durations to log and then running the log through a filter to give me the correct output.

+1 But it only makes sense if you get timcode information from one of the inputs or from an internal vmix clock

+1
PS - I don't think Multi-cam Logger by Softron is an expensive piece of software if you need the functionality regularly!

+1 times a lot. I'd literally be willing to pay upwards of $300-$400 USD extra just for this single feature.

+1 In fact, good thing that this post "reappeared" as I actually was about to suggest the same feature. In addition I would like to add my own suggestion found here MultiCorder Options. As mentioned in that feature post, if you use Premiere for post editing of a MultiCorder recording you will deal with raw files. That is perhaps often what you want, but if you have used any of the vMix colour adjustment tools, it would be really handy to have the option to let these adjustments have effect on the raw streams stored by the MultiCorder. /Peter
