Single-Use RTMP Instructions:

1. Schedule a broadcast in the BoxCast Dashboard.

2. 10 minutes before the event starts, you will have access to your Stream URL and Stream Key.

3. Click on "Broadcast From Other Encoder" to bring up the information you need for vMix.

4. Open up your vMix Software and click on "Configure Stream Settings" button.

4. Set the Destination as Custom RMTP Server and enter the URL and Stream Key in the 2 areas below.

*NOTE: I created a custom BoxCast profile but clicking "Add" and naming it BoxCast. That will not appear for you.

5. Click "Start" or click "Save and Close." If you click save and close, you can start the stream by clicking the "Stream" button on the bottom of the screen.

Things to Remember:

If you try to start streaming 10 minutes before the event, you will not have access to the RTMP URL or Stream Key, so the stream will not work.



RTMP Channel Instructions:

1. Schedule a broadcast in the BoxCast Dashboard.

2. On the dashboard go into settings > RTMP > to find the Stream URL and Stream Key.

3. Log into your vMix Software and click on "Configure Stream Settings" button.

Things to Remember:

- Once you input the Channel RTMP settings, you will not need to input them every time you stream. It will remain the same.

- The broadcast can only be started 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, or you will get an error message.
