Dear All,

We are using instant replay feature very often, and we have a nice little problem which requires urgent solution.

When we are playing the selected replays manually with the "Play Events" button, we need to play an "Cube zoom" animated static PNG logo before and after the whole replay event.
It must be done automatically at every replay sessions during the whole sport event.
We have tried to solve this problem on several ways, without any succes until now.

Do you have any idea?

You need to use a stinger and set that in the replay settings page. have a look at the help files and the vMix knowledge base. Also check the video on Instant replay on the vMix YT channel
thanks 1 user thanked ask for this useful post.

OK, it was our first approach. A stinger able to insert static png or a video file as transition between windows. But how should I "bind" a vMIX internal animation effect for the required png during the playback via stinger? Srry, we are not too experienced vmix users yet.

as far as i am aware one can not bind a vMix internal (transition) animation to a stinger . the animation hs to be in the stinger itself (image sequence)

also check out this tutorial video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6t_P3Funek

You would probably have to (get someone else to) recreate the cube-zoom effect on the PNG file externally, using something like After Effects, and save it as a PNG sequence (with transparency) which could then be used as a Stinger overlay transition in the vMix Replay controller.

I have a xKeys template for exactly what your wanting to do. I made a short set of videos outlining my setup. This one talks about a replay macro I built.

message me and I'll animate you're logo and I'll send a quick vid on applying it. This will animate the word replay in and stay up while it's playing.
