I need to import from the XML page what I'm currently up to on TV channels.
I tried more XML.Direct url and as a file in Data Source, but Vmix does not want anything to import.
Do I not know how to properly enter Xpath?

Example:
http://tvprofil.net/xmlt...pink.sr_tvprofil.net.xml for one channel

I believe the XPATH would be "tv/programme" in this case.

XPATH is basically some text used to search for a particular set of "nodes" (the <###> bits in XML).

An easy way to find a bunch of nodes regardless of where they appear in the XML is to use two forward
slashes followed by the node name. For example //programme would also work in this instance.

Regards,

Martin

I manage to pull data from his xml but he needs a data to be taken from EPG (TV schedule) for 2 moments:

1. What is right now specific channel (actual program title) for every channel (for example Now: Eurosport | UEFA CL: Man UTD - Chelsea)
2. What is next on specific channel (for example Next: Sport1: 20:00 Bundesliga: Bayern - Hertha)

He needs active data from tv guide (xml) to see what hours are right now, to check program from specific channel to export actual content what is on TV and what is next on channel and to scroll or switch every few seconds content from different channels

Hope you undestand what I mean

Thx

good luck

from the given xml and http://tvprofil.net/xmltv/ they appear just a daily (or weekly schedule) not what is currently on etc unless you have a formula to compare your current time with the schedule ?

some quick google searches tell me as mentioned before its just daily (weekly) schedules and any comparison with time ie what is currently on etc has to be calculated yourself or to translate in a "updated" visualisation .

Seems like scripting/programming is in order

You might have a Gsearch on "xmltv epg grabber"

@Siroki explained everything nicely and in detail.
Thank you and @doggy for wanting to help.

Something like this is necessary. Of course without graphics, only text.
