Thanks. Work on Win 10 and last update on vMix
But I did not able to import via vMix API - something may be I did wrong.
How to check did Scoreboard OCR send the data via localhost:8099/1 ???
Only work via XML data import.
Great program.

Some suggestions: It's possible to add local(or network) screen capture for Import picture?

In my case when go over vMix API it says:
Incorrect vMix input number:-1 for active vMix input will be used as default

I setup the same like UTC 127.0.0.1:8088

UTC works fine but Scoreboard always shows this error. Even before I did anything and change connection the Title and score was not working.

1. Did you have a look at the vMix output guide ? http://scoreboard-ocr.com/vmix
2. Shortly we will implement NDI input, so I guess vMix Desktop capture could be used to get screen from another computer

Feel free to drop me an email to ocr@scoreboard-ocr.com if you exprience any issues.

I beta tested this week and it works great.
Score, game clock (1/10), shot clock (1/10).
Since our shot clock is on top of the basket, after a dunk the OCR may get confused for a short while, due to the physical clock moving around.

Great work by AV, hoping to meet you at IBC Amsterdam on Saturday.

Did you have problems with dunk and shaking?

Also tried ocr, great job!

Hi,
Great to hear that you have positive experience.
Regarding 24sec shot clock, take look at this: http://scoreboard-ocr.com/add_automatic_manual

Tested with NDI and works like a charm!

Any suggestion on how I can get a timer that appear and disappear like for ice hockey penalties?

I am loving testing this out. One problem I am having though is that when I have a clock set up it sometimes doesn't read zeros correctly and it diplay wrong in vmix.

Example:
Scoreboard time is 2:05 will display 2:5. I have tried the different settings and can't seem to get it always read the zero as a zero and not a blank space.

Also I have tried to find a way to make my quarters read 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th instead of 1,2,3,4. I have asked for programming help and not yet been able to find a solution.

THIS PROGRAM IS GREAT but the above issues have been a bit troubling for me so far.

Also, I tested NDI on Friday night and it worked great!

1. Please update to the latest version and check if the problem is still there. We regularly update the list of supported fonts
2. If the problem is still there, please click the "Report problem" link in the application window, which will basically create a screenshot of application window and send to us. Ideally, if you have the recording of the scoreboard, that could also help.

Hi
Scoreboard OCR it's one greatest program created ever for vMix.
I broadcast one FIBA game with Scoreboard OCR. Well the DV camera moves and I lost the score, but next time I'll fix the problem.
This is the link from the game:

I have one crazy idea. Did some one try to use two Scoreboard OCR on the same time?
The idea is:
One Scoreboard OCR work - the web address via vMix Capture and get via NDI - I just capture only the score from Home and Away team.
And Second Scoreboard OCR work via local capture gust for the Time Game and 24 second Time.

So it's too work around on my experience with Scoreboard OCR, but:
It's possible on one Scoreboard OCR to have two ( may be three sources) like on multi screen.

Yes, this is how we produced 500+ basketball matches during the last year. We run two instances of Scoreboard OCR on the same computer.

We used these cameras: http://wiki.scoreboard-o...ommended_camera_settings

Maybe I don't understand something. You have big Score Screen. You can use one instance of scoreboard to score, time and 24 sec, or not?

Charlie, did you use vMix API ?
We have a guide here: http://wiki.scoreboard-ocr.com/vmix
From your video it seems that the score-bug data was updated once a second, which means 1/10 of a second does not look good.
If you use vMix API, you can get updates every 100ms from Scoreboard OCR.

Hi,
I just started playing around with Scoreboard OCR.
I produce Handball-Games in Germany and use the UTC-Title Controller for all the Scores, Penalties and Timeouts. In UTC i can set the "Penalty-Background" of my XAML-Title to Transparent if no Penalty is active. Is there a possibility to do the same with Scoreboard-OCR?

Thanks Alex

Hello Alex,

Unfortunately I havent used UTC Title Controller, so I cannot say what can or cannot be done using this tool.
Scoreboard OCR sends data to vMix (which means updates field values). For example, sets value of field "clock" to "16:21" or "fouls_a" to "0".
If a third party tool can monitor "fouls_a" value and execute action when value changes to "0", this will probably do the trick.

You mean for two minutes penalty?
You can set OnCountDownStop (I think thats right trigger) for two minutes, set it up over input Multiview and set it to go away when countdown is over. I set it to myself and it works fine. I think countdown should work either you are starting or pause it or it goes over ScoreboardOCR. Try.

Best regards

Thanks for your ideas,

after playing around with the scripting feature of vmix, i made a script which constantly checks if the textfield is empty and if ocr sends the penalty to the textfield the corresponding background is shown.

Script:

Quote:
dim i = Input.Find("scoreboard.xaml")

Do

dim gast1 = i.Text("Min_Gast_1_txt")
if gast1 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "7", "Min_Gast_1")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_gast1.png", "7", "Min_Gast_1")
End If

dim gast2 = i.Text("Min_Gast_2_txt")
if gast2 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "8", "Min_Gast_2")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_gast2.png", "8", "Min_Gast_2")
End If

dim gast3 = i.Text("Min_Gast_3_txt")
if gast3 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "9", "Min_Gast_3")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_gast3.png", "9", "Min_Gast_3")
End If

dim heim1 = i.Text("Min_Heim_1_txt")
if heim1 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "10", "Min_Heim_1")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_heim1.png", "10", "Min_Heim_1")
End If

dim heim2 = i.Text("Min_Heim_2_txt")
if heim2 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "11", "Min_Heim_2")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_heim2.png", "11", "Min_Heim_2")
End If

dim heim3 = i.Text("Min_Heim_3_txt")
if heim3 = ""
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "", "12", "Min_Heim_3")
else
API.Function("SetImage", "scoreboard.xaml", "C:/Users/Livestream/Desktop/Scoreboard/2min_heim3.png", "12", "Min_Heim_3")
End If
Sleep(500)
Loop

I know its not the nicest code but it works :)

I got one more Question, is it possible to force ocr to submit the leading zero? So to get 02:00 for two minutes even if the scoreboard only shows 2:00?

Greetings Alex

Alex, do you want 02:00 because of padding ? We could send " 2:00" if necessary (assuming you have left font alignment).
In the long run we could let users change the default output format.
