Due to a large number of suggestions raised, Beta 5 will take a little longer to release but I think the changes will be worth it.

So far vMix 2011 Beta 5 will include:

* External Output fix for use with streaming web sites under Internet Explorer on Windows 7.
* Fix Sharpen and Loop settings not being saved to presets.
* Ability to load presets by double clicking the preset file (File Type Association)
* Volume meter level now scales with volume lever.
* Settings to a) Hide Cursor on fullscreen window b) Ensure fullscreen window is always on top c)Minimise with main window.
* New Charcoal (black/grey) colour scheme in addition to the current theme.

Please post any bugs in this thread that need to be fixed. Feature suggestions will not be accepted for Beta 5 at this time.

i noticed that when i use vmix deinterlace the video becomes a little blurry and when i use sharpen the deinterlace doesn`t work fine. do you recommend a deinterlace filter software or will you improve quality on vmix deinterlace?

have you a date for lauch beta 5?

i test you software and i think that is simple and wonderful.
I found when i used these bugs.
Ii's impossible to clean the images present in the menu "impuct select". there is the button "clear" but not clean.
When you open about 7 instance (cam, player etc) is not possible to move for arrange the players on the desktop but these players stack on desktop.
If is possible to arrange the player and the related assigned button of keyboard.
Before to discover your fantastic software i tested vidblaster and the related chromakey. the vmix chromakey is least accurate and work differently.
Now i attempt to explane. when i open new cam and define the chromakey i think that is important to have another button that define the chromakey background assigned. actually to change the cams (with chromakey ) i used the botton overlay assigned on istance of an image.
I hope that my explanation was understand , because my english is very bad but i think that your software with little changes is very well.

trying this new beta 5...
good job on file type association (very usefull) and thanks for the new charcoal theme (better than default in my opinion).
its all working fine here including the very good performance (vmix is using only up to 20% of my CPU, including recording with lagarith lossless, very nice), but i noticed some things that you can correct:

1. settings -> Performance -> Output Format:
if i use yuy2 a little green bars apears at left and top of vmix virtual capture.
using rgb32 no green bars.

2. please, can you add 1024x576 resolution on vmix virtual capture? would be great if you do that (really serious... my cameras work with that resolution and using 768x576 at external output shows me some artifacts at diagonal lines).

so, for now its all i see. i must say that you martin are a great professional and i believe on all vmix potential.

hi martin,

after friday night and sunday afternoon services, watching recorded files, the video goes unsync in flash media live encoder and in vmix during production but this time the unsync is not the same. starting recording, all working fine and no unsync detected but some minutes after (maybe 10 or 15) i can notice an unsync that mantains a fixed delay at the end of recording and web streaming.

before used recording feature in vmix, i delayed the audio at 40ms to sync with video in flash media live encoder and 80ms to sync with vmix recording feature.

this unsync is only detected in beta5, previous version does not have it.

hope you can fix this... however i`m here to help.
