I tried some recently and it's another world of awesomeness. Can we have a tutorial on scripting and watch folders.
I've used scripting to trigger an opening sequence across 3 computers, start stream and all recordings, but I needed the script on a plate to adjust and get it right.
recently I saw someone have a screenshot save with a preassigned name, and these sorts of things are great workflow hacks.
I'd like to try and make a listinput watch a folder that the interviews get sent too on my desktop.

Thank you, do you also know what the script would be to watch a folder on the desktop and bring it into a list or is it quite complicated

It's quite easy when you have the basics and know where to start.
Learning code is a matter of step by step procedure and discipline. Or just find pieces of code, copy and paste them, pray for it works the way you need as you don't understand anyway.
If you want to learn, start learning and don't focus of immediate results

True but I just want to learn within vmixes building blocks and I think it would help with whatever the latest feature request is at the moment if people knew this stuff

I don't want to learn all of vb.net, DWAM - I want to spend my time only on the vMix relevant parts.
Like writing a script so that a goal in a handball match can be handled by pressing G - which then triggers 7 different actions automatically.
Where can I find out how to do that?

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how extensive the VB .NET scripting ability is in VMix - the examples given on the Vmix help page are very minimal (or are they all there is!?)
I have a need to Write XML data to disk when we trigger events with the Midi controller.
I have tried several examples - but all seem to want to use "Imports System.xml" - yet that fails straight away when trying to save the script with BC30035: Syntax Error.
