Currently we use a X-keys 124 w/ T-bar and when hot switching inputs directly to program out what ever input is in program automatically goes to preview.
I'd like to be able to disable that action, So what ever source I have in preview will stay there until switched to program out.
A number of professional hardware switchers have that as an option.

In my setup switching inputs directly to the program (Function --> Active Input) doesn't change anything in the preview.

Hmm , I'm using the "Cut" to send sources directly to program out. Just tested your way woohoo !
