Hi there,
It would be nice that it would be possible to add some effects to still images.
For example: pan and zoom (standard in moviemaker).
Then you can make fast a nice slideshow (pan and zoom effect on the images + fade transitions)

Please let me know if there ever will be effects possible to a "photos" input.
We have installed + 25 vmix 4k in funeral houses, but we still have to prepare the "slide shows" in movie-maker or another program.
When you want to change something last minute, you must render again in movie maker.
Does somebody know a alternative for the retired movie maker ? (plug and play, in batch ?)

I miss also rotate.. (portrait / landscape)

When you change the order of the photos, and you save the vmix preset, the order is reset again when opening that preset :(

You can already do pan/zoom/rotate using the merge transition between two version of the same shot.

Then use the playlist function to sequence and time the shots.

It's a bunch of work to set up, but does not require any rendering.

You may be better off using some other application, like Prezzi, to do this and capture the output. Such applications might have presets that would eliminate all the tedious set up.

See Slide Show settings in the manual.

Some keyframing capability in vMix would be very useful.

I cannot find a way to add (fast) 20 photos in a slideshow and have a fade/zoom/pan effect.
The slideshow must work automatically.

and yes with Prezi, or PowerPoint, or moviemaker it is possible, but that is still outside vmix, I really would have some effect to static photos...

I think this is outside of scope for vMix, and easily accomplished elsewhere. While it is a swiss army knife for video, it can't be all-things-to-all-people without becoming overly difficult both to use and support.

I understand this, but when you get the question from + 20 customers, I take this question serious.
There is o photo input, and there are transitions, so why not add one extra.

Effects could also used for video (black/white,etc), arkaos is a good example
