I installed the beta but don't see the new option.
The two files are in the avplugins\MFPlugin folder.
No log is created.
The app is installed in the c:\program files (x86)\ tree but does report itself as being x64 version.
My license is for VMix HD, so I cannot try 4K at present. Not sure that matters.

My results are the same as MJ.
I would be happy to do a Zoom session so you could look over the installation.

Martin, The 4k Brio MF video in .49 beta looks great! It is worth noting that the is currently no audio being seen by vMix for the device when selecting the Brio MF version of the camera (I see that there is a new/different check box for audio settings). Audio is present when using the regular Brio camera input. AlanZ attached the following image(s): brio-e.jpg (66kb) downloaded 1 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. With the 21.0.0.49 beta installed I see the Brio MF options and it works well.
This raises a questions - is access via MMF substantially different and/or beneficial?
Is this something unique to the Brio webcam for now, or potentially useful with respect to other UVC devices?
I'll advise the folks at sub2r that MMF us now supported, so they can may be able to use vMix with their new cameras.
Many thanks

Any thoughts about how to get the camera's audio to work?

As audio for Webcams is actually a separate Microphone device, add it as an audio input.

Yes, I know that I can add it as a separate input, but I was wondering why checking the audio enables option on the camera input setup seems to be ignored. Is this setting meant to do something other than enable its microphone?
The only choice on the pulldown menu under the audio enables option says default.
Should the input configuration be consistent with other camera (non MF) inputs where you were kind enough to let the camera input select from any of the available audio sources?
It's not a big thing, but while it's in beta, I thought I'd raise the question.

This is the recommended audio workflow for all capture devices in vMix not using the legacy directshow drivers and has been for many years now.
The audio options you see will work for AJA, Magewell, Blackmagic etc because all these devices support embedded audio in some way.
Webcams like the BRIO do not unfortunately, and are actually two separate devices in one, a camera and a microphone. As the MediaFoundation device for the BRIO has no audio, these options you mentioned will have no effect.
I would suggest that most users using the BRIO will be using a better quality microphone anyway.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Martin,
Thanks for the clarification... I just wanted to make sure it was working as designed.
I don’t intend to use the Brio’s microphone, but others might, so the separate input is the way to go if needed.
