Having prepared interaction functions for my goals I would like to upgrade a license to HD now.
During free test period (v9) I was not able to use the build-in HDMI-In of my laptop despite the fact that I am able to capture through this port with like 10 other programs.
I really like vMix for my purpose (if not the best) especially while all my other intentions do work as I want.
Is there a possibility to make sure my capture would work with vMix and its HD license ? What information would it require to address this seemingly small but solvable problem without having to buy other means of capture?
thanks Guy

1. Download MPC-HC here: http://mpc-hc.org/2. Run the program and go to View -> Options 3. Find the Playback -> Capture option and select your HDMI in here under Analog Settings and click OK. 4. Go to File -> Open Device 5. If everything works correctly, right click video window and go to Filters -> And select the capture item in the list. Copy and paste the text that appears in the window here. Thanks, Martin vMix

What is the error message when you select 720x576 as the resolution and 50p as the frame rate when selecting the capture device in vMix?

I noticed it showed a lower frame size while it accepts the full size in various other software.
My trial period is over, but did check on free license but gives same error as during trial period: Device that is connected to the system does not work (translated).
Is strange it would so called prefer PAL settings, while it is a US camera ( tried various combinations in vMix)

I have tested a few capture devices based on the TM6200 and they all work fine, so I can only guess there is something strange going on with that particular driver.
You may need to find some driver updates if possible, not much more I can do without testing the laptop in person.
Regards,
