Hi all,

We have been using Vmix at the Canadian Tennis Open for 3 years, to feed the center court jumbotrons. We have only one issue but it is quite annoying so any input on that problem would be awesome.
When we launch our vmix session (7 x 1080 cameras + a bunch of inputs) performance is optimal, fps perfect, render time 1-3 ms and cpu 20%. After a couple of hours of use, the framerate becomes increasingly sluggish with render time growing over time. At one point, the only solution is to quit vmix and open it again : performance gets back to normal for a couple of hours. Any ideas what could cause this?


I7 930 - 2.8ghz
Asus P6T motherboard
24G ram
SSD os + SSD projects and files
GTX1080
Windows 10

I sometimes have the same issues and would also love to know where the problem comes from?

Be sure that vMIX is using your Nvidia graphics card for rendering. We had this issue and it wrecked a few productions as someone kept changing it back to using the intel Graphics for rendering.

It would be awesome if vMIX did some sort of configuration scan when it starts and warns of issues like incorrect settings and inadequate hardware.
