I am trying to figure out why this is happening.

I can see the audio coming in - and I see them perfectly -

They can see and hear me perfectly.

I just don't have them in the mix -- even though vmix is showing the audio.

I am trying to avoid adding bus A or B in this

I am imagining it's some sort of setup issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm almost sure, but have to ask anyway...

Have you determined if the input volume setting, on the caller end it adequate? It may need to be turned up to an acceptable level.
Additionally, you have the opportunity to bring up the gain a bit within the settings of each input channel, which may help as well.

Good luck.

Make sure the remote guest is actually sending audio! He might have selected the wrong input on his side or just turned his own volume down (not to hear himself).

figured it out.

It was a far more complex solution due to our studio set up.

but it is working now.

I can't even explain how it was fixed - as my a/v guy had to come in and rewire a few things to get it to work right.

But thanks for the replies!
