On Tuesday I was fortunate enough to take part in an episode of StudioTech Live!
StudioTech Live! is a weekly online show that covers all aspects of creating great internet video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kMXhWN71Ar0

In this episode I discuss some of the origins of vMix and demonstrate some of the new features in vMix 10.

Well done Martin, get some sleep now. I'm not all that familiar with TTFN.tv but got the sense that they were taken aback by how much vMix can do, considering who their major sponsor is, it seemed they attempted to belittle vMix as a product just for those who can't afford the "Good Stuff". How wrong they were. I hope they don't get in trouble with their sponsor.

It was all in good fun. I asked them to ask the "touch questions" so the show didn't seem like one big advertisement for vMix.
They tend to not let their sponsors get in the way of the show, and I am always willing to discuss the pros and cons of each solution out there.

Regards,

Martin

It was cool to see the episode. Put a face to the name...

I have seen several of their episodes before and while i do find it interesting, I feel they ramble a bunch about stuff that isn't really relevant and they could pretty easily cut the show time in half and still pack in everything they already do that is at all meaningful. It has surprised me a little that more attention hasn't been given to vmix considering its feature set, price, etc... Glad it exists and glad to see a nice product in the hands of someone who seems to care about the users and putting out a really great product without trying to squeeze every last bit of revenue from it. Keep up the good work Martin.

I so much love the above phrase.... i know and watch them once in a while... the VB guy had wanted them to review VB before, but not as in-depth as this one.. more so, the VB programmer was never featured...

Yes congrats from here in the UK Martin. You did a great job, despite being obviously a bit nervous -:)

I was aware of Vmix beforehand, but have been trying out VB and getting my head around things generally. So your explanation of the software was very useful and informative. As a result, I am on the trial at the moment!

With kind regards,
Peter
