Some PTZ Optics brand cameras will soon have Tally Lights built into the base. (Actually, they are re-purposing a status light.)

This request is to have vMix automatically activate that Tally Light when the camera is in program. Since sometimes the camera is a NDI input, sometimes a HDMI input, sometimes a SDI input and sometimes a Streaming input, it might be best to have this tally light function assigned to the PTZ tab of the Input Settings window.

The light in question can be made to blink, be solid or be off. Perhaps blinking could be "preview" and solid could be "program."

Using a NDI connection this should be supported automatically. Tally like this works with the NewTek PTZ1 or Panasonic cameras. To be honest, I thought it already did with PTZOptics as well.

Rumor is that PTZ Optics may make a way for this in a future firmware upgrade.

Just need vMix to be able to recognize the new ability.

Much more than mere rumour Tom. Paul Richards has mentioned it in a public live stream.

It's coming :-).
