Hello, if I record the video as MPEG2 720X576 creates a progressive video file. there is no way to create interlaced video file? Thank you very much.

I think the recorded video is actually interlaced, but the metadata information is wrong. We regularly create and play interlaced MPEG2 PAL videos. Also perhaps the interlacing might change during the recording since camera source might be interlaced and a video transition is usually progressive.

I could add an "Interlaced" tick box which would modify the meta data. It wouldn't change the behaviour of all the source inputs so users would still need to make sure sources are not deinterlaced and are all at the same resolution. (This has been the reason i have been hesitant to add this option in the past, has the potential for a lot of confusion)
