What we do at the moment is run OBS on the vmix machine.
We then do a screen capture of the output window and send it via NDI to the multiview.
Bit of a work around but works well.

+1 We can make countdown clocks, But i really want to Couple the current video playout time left to this production clock.

Using this a lot to inform the talents (DJ's in a Radio Studio: Visual radio) when he needs to go on Air.. ( When video is done playing )

So linking to the Multiviewer but also to the Production clock would be key.. And does not seem to be that hard since this info is already known in Vmix and displayed underneath the playing content.

Okee Looks good. Never though ed of that also no experience yet with the scripting engine.. While i have a lot of C++ coding experience. So i can follow a bit what is happening..

This combing with your coding example above that ( Record status Red Green text into an input ) would make an interesting combo. Because tweaked together it might be possible to add a text onto the Clock input. To add the Remaining timer as text overlay. And within 10 seconds of end of file could go RED also..

I'm going to dive into this, But as said i have NO experience with this coding language so far.. 8)

Nothing stops you from writing an external app in c++ doing the same thing . In fact most of the time that's what i do so its usable with lower licenses also where inline scripting is not possible not to mention to add functions and subroutines not possible with the inline option
