quick question;
has anyone used NDI on a laptop and sent the signal both to an IMAG controller and video controller? I need a Powerpoint to show up on two boxes...
I am using a Spark to hopefully feed vMix for a stream and a Dataton Watchout system for IMAG.
thanks

NDI Is designed to feed multiple clients, in unicast and multicast mode.

Some NDI HX devices may support a limited number of clients in unicast mode (how many depends on the device), but in multicast mode, in theory, an unlimited number of clients should be able to receive the source.

Software based full NDI devices support theoretically almost unlimited clients in unicast and multicast modes. The practical number of supported clients in unicast mode will depend on the CPU performance and network bandwidth available.

Reply based on a recent experience with two PTZ Optics cameras. Network in unicast mode. These cameras were able to deliver an NDI-HX stream to three simultaneous clients; vMix and (2) NDI Studio Monitor. I did not try any more than this.

It was especially handy to be able to drag a laptop around, using it as a monitor over Wi-Fi.

All I know is by stopping it going to two computers we managed to bring in our ndi spark so I'll be watching to see where we're going wrong, buy we also know the client won't set up the network properly because it's always worked fine before etc
