Is there a way to have the cut/transition between preview and program effect the overlays as well as the main source.
I have a web page overlay selected to preview and another one selected to program. When I transition between preview and program the overlay on Program remains and now I have two Web page overlays on Program and none on Preview

I do not really understand what you are trying to achieve, but if I am thinking, I believe you will have to make a virtual input of the selection with the overlay, and do NOT use overlay after you do that...so you will now have 2 inputs, one with, and one without an overlay, then you can switch between them.....hope that is what you need to do....let us know if that is what you are trying to achieve...

My setup has NDI Cam 1 and Overlay 1 setup on Program. Then I have NDI Cam 2 and Overlay 2 set to my Preview.
I need to do a Stinger transition back and forth between Preview and Program. However the Overlays are not switching. I am left with Overlays 1 and 2 on Program.

Simply setup your shots with multiviews instead of overlays.

Then you may need to use triggers. do a read up on triggers in the help manual, or go on youtube and do a search for triggers in vMix, or go to vMix.com, and check their tutorials ...they explain it easily ....and once you get the hang of it, it will come like second nature...

Creating virtual multi-layer inputs is the way this can be done.

Another option is to create a trigger that will transition the background, toggle overlay(s) on or off and trigger the stinger on top of that.

It would be useful to be able to quickly transition the background and/or overlays on or off in any combination. Having a group that can select the next compound transition would allow this -

B + OL1 toggle background + overlay1
OL1 + OL4 toggle overlay1 + overlay4
OL4 toggle overlay4
B+OL1+OL2+OL3+OL4 toggle all overlays + change background

Triggers or virtual inputs can do this too but you need a lot of them to cover the 31 combinations.

If it's only and always Cam-1 + Graphic-1 and Cam-2 + Graphic-2 no need for triggers, virtuals, etc. See my post above, just use multiviews on the cam inputs and off you go...
