Would it be possible to have the preview window not flip-flop when cutting directly?

Reasons for this:-

If cutting multi-cameras and transitioning to a VT or camera plus graphic etc you need to be able to see them previewed.

If cutting multi-camera sport or interviews it's very useful to be able to leave your wide shot on preview both to see what's going on in a larger window and have a safety shot stood by.

As someone with 20 years in broadcast TV I love vMix, there are many, many parts which far exceed old hardware switchers but potential broadcast customers need familiarity, not having the Program/Preview flip-flop when cutting sources directly is one such familiarity.

Maybe i am not understanding what you need but i am just guessing that you may have your vmix setup the wrong way.
When creating shortcuts for setting some source to program you can either choose to cut ( traditional flip flop) or cutdirect, which will display your source on pgm without touching prv. You can have it as you like.

And vmix is so flexible that you can even set some activator to do as you wish in the wide shot regard:
You can set an activador for the close up cam so that on transition in (via cut) it sets your wide shot on preview.

Well that's embarrassing, I'd never noticed that shortcut option.

Thanks for the reply, I shall now go and sit in a corner and have a stern word with myself.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time, I'll get my coat.
