During prolonged test runs in vMix, we experience that the inputs on a Blackmagic Decklink 2 Duo need to be reset from time to time. After several hours (often more than a full day) it simply loses its incoming SDI-signal and shows black in Vmix. Right-clicking and clicking "Reset" solves the issue instantly, and the camera input comes back.
Any of you that also experience this?
- Desktop Video Driver is 10.9.7 - vMix is 20.0.0.30 x64 - Motherboard is an Asus Z87-EXPERT - Decklink Duo 2 is installed in the top PCI-express slot.

In the release note of Desktop Video 10.9.9 (released last week) this is mentioned: Quote:Fix playback and capture interruption when changing connector assignment on DeckLink Duo 2 and DeckLink Quad 2. In our test scenarios, the interruptions are not happening during connector assignment but rather out of nothing. But it is interesting at least, that capture interruption is mentioned.

10.9.9 makes my DeckLink Duo 2 unusable because of driver signature problems. Back to 10.9.7

When you have updated your card will be usable again and it will ask you to flash the firmware on the board. To which you need to agree.

Nope. Windows is up to date and still an exclamation mark in device manager with 10.9.9. No problems with 10.9.7.
Update: Disabled Secure Boot in BIOS and did a fresh Windows install. Now 10.9.9 is working...

I had the same issue as you and updating Windows (as suggested on the Blackmagic forums) seemed to fix it, although a reboot later Windows has the same issue with drivers: Quote:Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

10.9.9 have just been pulled from the website. It's a can of worms.

Yes, the Blackmagic Forum suggests either disabling Secure Boot or applying Windows updates whenever driver signature issues are reported during installation. The latter fixed it for us, but only until next boot.
Something appears to be really off with 10.9.9 though. As reported it was pulled from their site and more than a week after it still isn't available for download.

I have also now seen this on a Blackmagic Decklink Quad 2 card.
- vMix 20.0.0.55 - Desktop Video 10.9.11
From the test recording I can tell that it was after 59 hours that the input turned black.
Anyone else have tried this?
