Howdy...

I've used Vmix Social for getting responses from twittter and FB into a livestream, but I have a client now who we've done several private, internal livestreams for company-wide. These sit behind their corporate firewall and are only viewable to folks who can sign on to their corporate intranet (usually ~2000 people worldwide)...

Now, however, they've asked for some way that the private viewers can ask questions, and we can have those questions come up on the livestream, and also come up on their iMag display (which currently doesn't go through vMix... so that may need to change)...

Any thoughts on doing this? I have some ideas, but curious as to what would work best..

Best,

Ben

Easiest way: use a "private" account on twitter

Or

Use an on-premise IRC chat server

Both will work as-is with vMixSocial

Alternatives :

Install a chat server in their intranet (or simply add a question field in the webpage next to the video player) as an interface for users
Add entries to a database
Develop the moderation interface
Use datasource

For simple asking of questions use a Google from pointed at a google spreadsheet that then feeds a vmix title by way of the data source
