Hi,

With the introduction of independent streaming in vMix 21 beta, would it be possible to choose whether to stream the program output or external output to the independent streams?

It is already possible to select the audio bus for parallel streams, but the possibility of changing the video bus would provide substantial possibilities.

Thanks for considering!

(edit:)

Potential use cases:
-broadcast multi-camera events (Youtube supports this)
-broadcast behind-the-scenes (great for educational purposes)
-stream clean (non-overlay) version of the program to another service (e.g. ad-free version)
-remote producer (stream multiview with low latency service)

+1

I think it would be useful to be able to stream the Power Point presentation of a conference to a secondary stream, so that the viewer can have the PP on one monitor and the main feed on another. It could be done with a second vMix box, with the $60 vmix license - but it would be more compact if it could all be done within the 1 laptop.

This could be a great tool for education, on-line workshops (eg. so that you can see #1 Presenter, and fixed views #2 Power-Point, #3 Desk Cam - to show things of relevance, devices, experiments, etc).

I guess this will all add extra load, but the latest hex core laptops with nVidia 1080 graphics should cope quite well.

It could also be useful to send things like the vMix Multi-View and a Desktop capture of vMix to streams #2 & #3 for on-line live vMix tutorials.

+1 to the above presented use cases.
And I add the use case of accessability (add subbtitles, sign interpretation)

Side note, this question was asked in the vMix Fun Time Live Show April 2018 (at the end of the show).
