Hi, I am using a NewsHD title as an overlay to identify our speaker but I would like to alternate the speaker name with our website address every so often and then back to the speaker's name. I think a trigger would do that but am not sure of the process.
Thanks!! Bob Bartholomew Yuma, Arizona

Hi you can do this using the SetText command in conjunction with a timer loop. Using Scripts in vMix 4K and Pro or using vMix UTC Principle is : SetText : name Wait for x seconds SetText : url Wait for x seconds Loop back to start It must be adapted according to the language or app you use to do it, but it's the principle. I demoed this with vMix UTC in this video: Which comes with more technical information in this thread : https://forums.vmix.com/....aspx?g=posts&t=9393Have fun! Guillaume

@ bobbartholomew
Guillaume is truely a Master with vMix UTC and advanced functions and scripts with vMix, his tutorial videos are well worth watching and learning from. For those less initiated and less adventurous (like me), using simple Shortcuts will also work with the "SetText" function. If you assign the appropriate text to a Shortcut Key, you will be able to alternate at will between the two. It's a manual method as opposed to automated mind you, but I am always leary of too much automation and not having control sometimes.
