Hi all
Love vmix, have been using it forever. In our sports streaming setup we do not use a separate CGI for graphics. I have been creating separate designs and using everything built in and it has worked great for basic sports like soccer.
Now we will be broadcasting baseball, which really requires a LOT of extra graphics such as ball/strike count, pitch speed, bases, etc.
I would love to be able to have one person (ME) controlling the major aspects of vmix - setting up the stream, camera inputs, rolling in IR (we do use a separate unit for instant replays) and then person 2 would control the graphics - changing scores, bases, inputting pitch speed, etc. Is there anyway to do this? Have not been able to figure out a workflow for this yet and thought maybe someone else had tried this.

vMix API allows to control vMix from any computer on the network using several interfaces like the WebController or vMix UTC for example
This forum is full of examples, this subject has been addressed hundreds of times so just dig...
vMix YouTube channel is also a good source of information

I'd use seperate PC with vMix and output graphics (with transparency) over NDI. It's much easier to manage and graphics person can have preview of his work.

Thank you for your replies. I did find the answer, so I am posting it for others who may have the same issue. It is called WEB CONTROLLER, which is not particularly intuitive, and it why it did not come up in a search. https://www.vmix.com/kno...x/81/vmix-web-controller

yes, get a streamdeck and assign the main keys you want to control from it - I'm guessing you only have one computer and want 4 hands for it so that'll do it for you (costs $120) it'll be your best purchase since vmix

If I've understood you correctly, the best way to do this is to build any necessary graphics and have them linked to data source files on a separate laptop on the same network.
