Hey Guys,
Very new to vMix and I am trialing the software right now to see if it will work as needed. So far so good.
I am live streaming through vMix, so I don't rely on multiple inputs transitioning in and out. Just 3 static overlays, however, I want my fourth overlay to be on a timer so every 15 minutes it will fade in a small transparent png image displaying my social media for about 10 seconds, and then disappear for another 15 minutes and loop infinitely. I cannot seem to find a way to do that since I don't have any actual transitions I can trigger from... or at least I cannot figure out how to trigger from anything
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can pull this off?
Thanks,
GenInternaut

Thanks for the info. That seems exceedingly complicated to basically trigger an image to fade in and out automatically on a loop. I'm thinking I may just make a transparent video that's 15 minutes long which fades information in and out at the very end of the video and put it on a loop if that's the only way this can be done.
I guess this will go in the upcoming feature requests forum as it seems like something that should already be an option.

I find it very simple on the contrary and very lightweight compared to using videos with alpha which have a major footprint on CPU. If you don't want to use UTC, you can still do the same with vMix scripting.
