Hello,

Is there any way I can get vMix to output video to my second monitor at the same time while outputting to virtual device? The idea is to do flash streaming with FMLE and at the same project the video to a large screen for local audience.

If not, one go-around would be to use vMix virtual device with another software. I tested with vidblaster, which has secondary monitor output option, however it takes up a lot of cpu resources. Perhaps any other suggestions?

hi dundurs,

go to settings -> Display -> Output Screen and choose the monitor you want to use, then click "Fullscreen" button.

regards,
melody

melody, thanks for suggestion. im suprised i did not notice this feature :)

still, it does not work, after pressing fullscreen button the output is displayed on background of the 1st monitor where the vMix application resides. i experimented with second monitor configured in windows as 1) extended desktop; 2) duplicate; 3) none, but none of these seem to work

make sure if your graphic drivers are the latest,

its really strange because i used a second monitor to test with my laptop and my desktop and everything looks fine... i used extended desktop and works great. my OS and vmix version are the same that yours.

regards,
melody

I tried for the tenth time and now it works fine. I set a different resolution for secondary monitor, perhaps that was the issue.
