What's up with the requirement of a product key, now? I thought it was supposed to be free. Also, for the purchase, will it extend to newer versions, or will it have to be purchased again each time?

Was their way of getting people to try their product, not that i agree the way they did it.
But as anything else in life people don't work for free.
They should have been upfront and had a 30 day trial from the start and not deceive people.
Still a good product in my opinion.

Still a good product in my opinion. That answers the first question, but now to ask if the purchased license carries over to newer versions of vtask

We have bought and installed version 2.1, the keys have been set and the program starts, and can connect with vMix, but it does not work, the program's main clock is blocked and we can not start,
when is a solution?

Bom dia.

I have a question about vTask. As I wrote in my post here: Quote:I recently found a solution for creating dynamic mp3 playlists, based on rules. Beats creating music playlists by hand, and use them in a radio software (RadioDJ). I want to do the same with my music videos. The first challenge is how to create dynamic playlists as I do for my mp3 files. This got me thinking... My on-the-fly generated mp3 playlists are stored in mySQL. If I could run a procedure that imports the current mp3 playlist, replace the text ".mp3" with ".mp4" I should be able to produce a playlist based on the rules in my radio software. How does vMix handle working with mySQL databases? I just did a test. In RadioDJ I can let the software generate a playlist of let's say 5 videos, based on rules like: - First video must be from the Top 10 - Second video must be from the Top 10 - Third video must be from the 2010s - Fourth video from the 1980s - Fifth video from the 1970s Since all videos are cataloged in a mysql database, and completed with additional information like era, genre, etc the query possibilities are endless. Once the last video is played (RadioDJ only plays the audio, no video) it updates the playlist with 5 new selections, and so on. All the information can be retrieved from the database to build a m3u file for use in vMix. Is this something that vTask can help me with? I see a great potential here. So unless somebody has an other solution I strongly feel this is something worth looking into. Please your ideas on this? Any suggestions?

Dear, vTask User / Customer, My name is Eric Asiedu the founder of VFXBLEND LTD. and creator of THEN vMixTask and NOW vTask. A Brief History This software was initially hosted on the official vMilx Forum, when officials of vMix asked us to change the name because vMix is their trademark and that resulted in the name vTask. Along the line, we worked with AnnanStudios and its been fun and we are now moving to the next phase. As of (24rd Febuary, 2018) vTask 24/7 Automation and Scheduling software is being rooted back to VFXBLEND LTD. These changes would not affect your product. What Now? because we care about you, we've made sure the following are in place: 1. All License holder are still valid only if they download the latest update that comes with this announcement. 2. All Support and resources should be redirected to the official VFXBLEND website www.vfxblend.com , the website has a forum to keep our community up and running. This announcement comes with a discount. Purchase VTask 2.1.20 for only $49.99 Please see the videos on our website about one big change in the latest update vTask 2.1.20 and also to get you started on this new website. Regards Eric Asiedu CEO VFXBLEND LTD. -- We code, create and blend Multimedia From Media Advertising, Film & TV Production To Music Production VFX BLEND: your imagination is our creation.

So is vTask a program to use or to pass? I have watched all the videos and have tried 1.x versions and I thought this will be a PRODUCT. A visit to the website and forum gives me a strange feeling. Has everything stopped in 2018?
Can you give any info about it?
what would be the alternative?
thanks
