A suggestion

There should be a way to search/filter. The search feature would be right above the Input section. There would be a standard "Search/Filter" search box and you'd search for a word or phrase in the inputs -- and the results would be filtered to show only those resulting inputs.

Rowby, i know that's an example screen capture but are you using tabs in your official production? these are a big thing for us to clean up our project.
we have 40 inputs for our full show but only 8 of them are visible during the production - everything else is back end.

TABS (for anyone that hadent spotted them)
click on the colour tabs and you can put a name on each colour, then go into the settings of the inputs you want under that tab, and you'll see the same colours on the general settings screen.. select the tab colour you want assigned and it will appear in that tab and under all - which is the grey tab
