HI there,
First I want to compliment you on this great piece of software! Well done.
We ar trying it now to buy later on, but the main reason for us is the flash overlay capabilities. Only there are some Alpha issues here.
If I create a SWF with a square that has a alpha of 50% the it works perfect, showing the square with 50% transparency over the live video (Decklink Extreme 3D). When I add a text to the same SWF, all transparency is gone???
Can you help me with this one? If we can solve this we will buy the full version of the software.
One other small question. Is it possible to automate a phot slide show? Now you have to pres next manualy, but it would be nice if this worked with a interval.
Hop to hear form you soon!
Regards,
Remco

Have you tested the flash file in a browser to see if the transparency is correct? vMix only displays whatever transparency the flash player supports (it uses the Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer internally), so it may be the way the text is setup in flash.
Failing that, please post a swf file for further analysis.

Hi Admin,
Thanks for your quick response!
I tested this and IE does it without any problems. I have the screendumps and the flash (incl. fla) for you, but I can't find a way to attach them to this post? I really hope that you can help.
How about the other question about automating the slideshow from a folder of images?
Regards,
Remco

Email the flash files to info@vmix.com.auAs for the slideshow, you can right click the slideshow window and select an interval (1, 5, 10 seconds etc) for each slide.

Hi,
Sorry for the slideshow question. Just didn't look good enough...
I'l mail you the files tomorrow. I discovered that Dynamic texts in Flash are alway transparent... really strange. I'll attach a sample of this also.
Reagrds,
Remco
