As a frequent uploader of in-game highlights, I really need video delay (or replay) to offer MP4 as a codec option. After the save, I could then quickly upload to social media without the need for time consuming transcoding from vmix's current codec choices. These clips are typically 20 seconds or less. I currently have to do this with OBS because OBS will do the save in Mp4.

OBS allows one to set the amount of the clip save time. When ready, a hotkey press saves the replay clip buffer in MP4 in a folder. It takes less than 5 seconds with no major drain on resources.

Currently, I use OBS taking an NDI feed from vMix. Would be much simpler to do within vmix.

I would also love to have a way to post the video automatically, but if I can get the clip in MP4 I can handle the rest of the workflow.

Please consider.

+1 - I see this as important, and it seems like it wouldn't be too much work, the functionality is already there, we just need to be able to select which format we want.

Would love to see implemented.

That request is asking for direct social media integration to be added to the Video Delay function, this request is asking for an additional codec to be added to the Video Delay function. The two may be similiar, but they're seperate requests. Direct integration would be great, but I think this would be alot less work to implement, and with the other thread being nearly two years old, something's better than nothing.

one workaround for now would be to have Vmix export to a Shared folder on another PC then have http://www.ffastrans.com/ watching that folder to transcode the files.

then have FF trans save to a Google Drive or dropbox folder on that pc then use IFTTT to watch the Drive/Dropbox folder and automatically post that video to facebook , twitter or wherever
