I want to set an audio wav file to play during a transition overlay, eg overlay cube, but can't get it to work.
I have tried this using triggers, but if I set a transition to play audio, such as a wav file, it either stops the transition from working or the transition still works but the audio doesn't.
Can someone advise if this is possible ?
Thanks Grant.

create and audio input of your wav file, deselect mix audio in the settings and switch the audio on.. assign your fade to a shortcut and assign play the audio input you've just created to the same shortcut

Thanks, I understand the first couple of settings, but don't understand what you mean by assigning the wav file input to the shortcut. When I create shortcuts, I add or edit them, and the shortcut is set to perform an action or function, not the other way around.
Can you clarify that last bit please ? Thanks Grant

Hi Barney, I have worked it out, thanks to your hints. By using Trigger rather than Shortcuts. Trigger is used to overlay the Audio Input. I may have been on the right path to start with, but I think you hints with Setting the Audio on made all the difference. Many thanks for your help. Grant

You can create a shortcut that plays an audio input (and make that same shortcut button start your fade). But I think the way you have it with the activators is a better way to handle this.

Yeah, I think so too. When I tried to use the same shortcut to do two things, it stopped one of them. But thanks again.
