What is the feasibility of using the Novation Launchpad as a control surface with vMix 9?
Will it be easier with vMix 10's improved API abilities?
I'm not a programmer, but am curious to know what is required to make it work.
I am willing to take a stab at it so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried it with the Bome's Midi Translator, but I found it to only be moderately effective as much of the functionality of the Launchpad is unavailable (i.e. lighted keys, multiple pages etc.)and it is merely an extension of the key stroke shortcuts of the keyboard so it presents the same issues of active/inactive within the GUI.
