I have a friend that has a hd550 that we are going to use for a 3 arena coverage. I really would like to use vmix on this as my other setups would also be using vmix and would like to have them all set up the same. I am having a issue with seeing the cameras using the hdmi on the declink mini recorder inputs. I just get a black screen. Will try sdi converter to see if I can get that to work, but the hdmi works using the live stream studio on this device, but still not able to get to work in vmix. Any other suggestions?

Are you trying to install vMix on the Livestream Studio HD550? Or just want the video output to feed to vMix?

Install vmix on hd550 so I don't have to learn a new system for this show.

Unfortunately the HD550 only has a very basic graphics card which is not suitable for vMix in most cases.

That said, the system has standard Mini Recorders so it should be possible to bring in the HDMI by making
sure "HDMI" is selected in the Input dropdown when going to Add Input -> Camera in vMix.

steer clear with live stream they're trying to monopolize live streaming with their software and hardware it doesn't work with anything else
