Hi there

I'm wondering if it's ok to use both NTSC and PAL camera inputs? Does it really matter?

I have my production set to PAL 1080P 30 and I want to bring in both PAL and NTSC inputs. Will vMix just work it's magic and make it work? Or do I not even need to worry about it and just put in any camera at 30fps?

Cheers

Aside from the fact that PAL is 25 and not 30, yes, you can mix-&-match PAL/NTSC source frame-rates in vMix and it will come out the other end at whatever the profile is set to. Obviously it's better to keep the same frame-rate from end to end throughout the production, since any conversion (in vMix) will not be as sophisticated as a full-blown broadcast standards converter.
