Finally moving to the vmix instant replay now that my New Tek 3 play is practically dead.

Anyone want to share their optimal hardware build for this?

On a related note, I'm wondering if I can repurpose my Newtek controller with vmix IR.

Thanks in advance!

Start with this as a beginning: https://www.vmix.com/pro...erence-systems.aspx#ruby Add at least one extra SSD for recording the replays and some fixed discs for archival purposes.

I have 4 camera replay working fine on an older Xeon Box with an older Graphics card and recording onto a 3 disk raid array over Thunderbolt.

My build tip is to always ensure that your Mobo has TB support. You will be amazed how useful it becomes!

Thanks for this - here is what I put together

Not including the Blackmagic card of course.
I have no experience with TB - what is it used for?
