I'm (still) running into issues with my streaming setup:

i7 4790
Geforce 960
8gb RAM
SSD for Instant Replay
Two 1080i50 camera's captured by Decklink Mini Recorders

I created a new preset from scratch and tried to offload as much functionality as possible to a second pc using NDI, and during testing everything seems to run smoothly, but when the event is there on saturdays (maybe vMix takes that day off?), i get wildly varying performance. After stopping the Instant Replay recording, things seem to run a lot better, so i was wondering what a typical load for this functionality should be and what influences it? It's my experience that it takes up anywhere between 20 to 70% CPU and i can't find any reason why sometimes it spikes so much. I did find that streaming with hardware encoder on uses the GPU a lot (since CPU load is a lot less in that case), so maybe the GPU isn't up to both the streaming and the Instant Replay tasks?

Probably unrelated is that i have some h264 mp4 and mov files that cause framedrops when playing in output, even before Instant Replay is recording, which seems downright silly to me. Is this normal behaviour and should i use different codecs/containers?

- i use all the latest drivers, with Geforce Experience uninstalled
- master framerate 25p, camera's are deinterlaced
- all monitors are set to same refreshrate
