Is there any limitation to make transition effect between videos in one list - Is it working at all?

Leading small TV station I have opportunity to record lot of different content – Sometimes content is consist from 10-15 and more short video files … After of editing I put them in one list and nor I am exploring what I need to set to be able to play that list and all videos in it with transition (for instance fade 0.5 sec)

Even if everything is “set correctly” I can’t get results – On pictures (list of it) everything is simple and working but on videos I can’t get transition from one to another one – Video is not to short and there is at least 10-15 sec (and more) of all of them !

If there is no limitation in vMix than where I need to set to play with transition?

I set list to automatically play with transition but without success! – Is there any limitation regarding type of video files because I am now use mainly MTS video files because they are FullHD but with best possible compression which is totally ok for streaming plus for archiving them in that format (in mean time I find a way to seamlessly edit them and prepare for vMix – In mp4 I will get 5-10 times larger files)! When I try with MP4 I get same results because list will be played but without transition!

If this depends from graphic card how it must be set under vMix?

Any suggestion will be appreciated

I know it will not add anything into list and I know playlist have transitions (and list obviously not) but I can’t play 20-50 files trough it because every must be set for Deinterlace Blend

I am figuring out what is other way to play videos with deinterlecing plus with transitions

I have next set up (mentioned just for reference)

1. Picture for beginning – Show what’s will be broadcasted till time to start streaming content (with countdown and text ticker if content have lot of videos for their names and approximate length)
2. Intro video list (2-3 intro videos – 20 sec at most)
3. Content (list of video files – it can be 2-3 hours long and with up to 50 files – depends of occasion and content)
4. Advertising (if turn on it shows on every 20 min – 10-15 sec at most)
5. Ending video list (2-3 videos – 20-30 sec at most)

If I use playlist than I will set it to play on end of intro video list – it play content 20 min and then adverts and loop that up to the end of content – That mean all video content is in one list without transition :( and I am just thinking can I play list of videos with transition and how to do that …

Using it in playlist will make lot of troubles because MTS video files are interlaced and every one of them must be set for deinterlecing before broadcasting – If I miss even one of them it will be very bad – If I put all those videos into playlist because of transition than I can’t set to automatically play advertising list every 20 min plus I must check every one of those videos to set deinterlacing on them!

I can allow to use playlist (with transition) without advertising because I often do that (I don’t earn money through advertising and I use those only for promotional ones regarding media I lead) but how to set all those files fast for deinterlecing? Any idea?
