Hi all,

I noticed that when the fullscreen is not activated the preview input have excellent framerate, but when we activate fullscreen there is a huge framerate drop in the user interface.
Whould you know why?

We are on a 7700k with a GTX 970, in the fullscreen there is 2 outputs 1 fix image, 2nd the program out for an external recorder.

Thanks for your answers!

try dialing back the external resolution.... if that makes a difference you need more GPU hardware power...

Is the frame drop just noticeable in vMix or in the output destination, too?

I noticed something similar some time ago. We solved it by matching the refresh rate and aspect ratio of the monitor to the internal framerate in vmix.

It was a 1200*1080 monitor at 60hz. When we set it to 1920x1080 and 50hz, we noticed vmix was more stable and had less latency and dropped frames.

Hi all,

thanks for your answers.

Finally we found the reason, we were havins:
VMIX in 1080 60fps
3 screen in 1080 60fps
1 screen in 4K 24fps

If we were using the fullscreen output on the 4K everything was laggy, (like a LOT), when we put the 4K screen in 1080 60Fps everything when right again.
