Dear all,
we are trying to use vMix to record our talk & seminars but we are still in trouble.
Our setup is a Dell Precision M6400 running a Core2Duo@2.8Ghz with 4Gb of RAM, an integrated Nvidia Quadro FX3700M and a winXP pro x86. We shoot the speaker of the seminar with a Sony HDV videocamera (HVR-A1E) and we overlay it on the ppt slides grabbed from his vga laptop (with a VGA frame grabber by epiphan and the vmix desktop capture), so just 2 input and an output that we record with the internal record feature.
The problem is that after some minutes (usually about 10) the desktop capture server crash or just stop to refresh the vga image and usually after 18 minutes the audio (captured via firewire vith the video of videocamera) become mute until the new record start (each 30 minutes).
What can be the problem?
Thank you in advance Matteo

Hi,
As suggested above, see if the latest Beta is an improvement. Also, I would be interested in seeing the full error message for the vMix Desktop Capture service. Crashing may indicate a display driver issue so make sure you have the latest drivers, and are using the Aero mode if under Windows 7.
Regards
