I'm trying out a simple setup - two cameras, a desktop capture and a USB mixer for audio. The audio is unsurprisingly ahead of the pictures on the output stream (External - I'm using different software to handle the streaming outside of vMix.) The audio delay on the mixer input doesn't affect the output at all; neither does the audio delay setting in the external output settings. Am I missing something obvious? Why would non of the delays work?

Are you using the "vMix Audio" device in the other streaming software? If so setting the delay on audio input in vMix should definitely work.
You can confirm this by trying a test recording from within vMix to isolate any issues with the external streaming software.

Thanks Martin - you are of course absolutely right. The streaming software defaulted to the default windows sound output rather than the vMix output. All working and back in sync now. Cheers, Sheriton
