I'm trying to figure out why vMix can successfully stream to YT, but is struggling with FB.

I've been live streaming for almost 2 months, almost daily with no issues to Facebook. Then this week, the stream won't sustain. The light turns yellow - tons of buffering, etc. On YT it works well.

My internet connection is solid - 40Mbps up. I'm not behind any firewall. On a different computer (Mac) on the same connection, I can stream from Ecamm Live w/o any issues.

I'm using custom RTMP and settings that have worked perfectly up until now. 3500kbps for video and 128 kbps for audio.

There is a whole thread with more info. I'm at a loss and it sucks not being able to go live. It's content I rely on.

I have made some less than helpful suggestions on the other thread.

Do you have Geforce experience installed?

Might be a silly question but what framerate are you running? Facebook doesn't accept high framerates such as 60 fps.

Check if you're using the settings facebook recommends. You can find them here under "Live Video Specs"

we found out that it's not a vMix issue, but it's a very interesting issue that I'm still having. Streaming to FB is affected. Streaming through a 3rd party like restream.io works fine. Streaming directly to YT works fine.
