Wishing VMIX will support the SRT protocol. For the effectiveness even in
tough network condition and pristine quality.

I just looking even better. We broadcast every day one Radio station and I
looking way to make subtitles from some Foreign languages to English automatically.
So far I find two cool services like:

https://speechlogger.appspot.com/en/
and
https://tywivox.translateyourworld.com/global

So the idea is to make auto subtitles on English.
Of course robot make some mistake but it's no problem for go broadcast to more people like on Facebook or Youtube...

Best Regards

Charlie

Hi Charlie

This feature request concerns the SRT protocol for streaming, as an alternative to RTMP.

I know it's confusing with the SRT protocol for subtitles which has existed for many years, but it's 2 different things obviously, with the same name unfortunately.

Look for another feature request for SRT subtitles in vMix (I don't remember seeing one) and add your +1 to it if it elready exists, or just create a new feature request for it.

it won't be difficult because ffmpeg should soon support haivision srt protocol.
A patch was submitted to ffmpeg-devel ML recently and is under review.
