I Did something like this last week but went another way at It.
I was uesing an RSS feed of a twitter user , I had a php page/script that displayed the tweets then when you clicked on the tweet it pushed the text threw the api to a vmix title, then sent the command to show the title on overlay 1 ,the script then waited 10sec then sent a commad to remove the title.
I also used php on the same show to dispay name/title graphics that were read from an excel file

I guess we need people/ vMix experts to help others coming behind solve their setup bottleneck. Impressive way of displaying real time feed... Regards, Rottimmy

Hi,
As far as I knows it is not possible to use a Flash component in vMix which reads data from an external Internet connection (like RSS). I think it has nothing todo with vMix, but just with some security policies of Flash/Windows.
Reading data from local files works fine.
We are using Q-newsticker in vMix (very good one), but to show RSS data (from Twitter in our case), we first save the data locally.
Regards, Hanno.
